Meyer is a genius. I've been teaching...Hi Ash,<br /><br />Meyer is a genius. I've been teaching CC for the last two years and love it. You have to find the balance between helping kids obtain the skills they need and making sure they are doing that through a real world lens. I recommend checking out Jennie Magierra's site:Teaching Like It's 2099 and Jennifer Findley's site: Teaching to Inspire in 5th. Jennie is a huge Meyer follower and did some amazing real life learning in her class. Jennifer's TPT CC Math stuff is right on and will help you transition to teaching with the core in math.
