Fabulous in first posted about "Crayons to Computers" which is a free "store" for teachers in her area (Cincinnati). Local businesses donate all the supplies, and teachers shop for free! Well, it turns out that there are 42 stores like this nationwide, and my area had one! It was set up for the teachers in the metro area, but if you volunteer you can earn yourself a shopping trip! I am volunteering!

I've checked and I am sad to report there are none in my area. :( Maybe in the future. Until then I will bargain hunt the .01 cent and .10 cent deals at Office Depot and Target.

Crayons to Computers is AWESOME!! I haven't been there in several years, but they really have some unique items- not just your typical school supplies. They also carry items that have been made by convicts, like flashcards and seat covers. Pretty cool!!
That is awesome! I saw this on another blog a couple weeks ago and looked it up. Saw that there was one in Nashville but it didn't say anything about volunteering for a free pass. I'm definitely calling them to set up a day to volunteer!
